HI and coming out of lurking

I just wanted to take a few moments to introduce myself. I'm Mamaquilts (yes I do quilt) and I've been wanting to raise chickens for a long time but where I live will not allow chickens unless you have 2 acres of land.

I've been lurking here for about a year.

I have gained a lot of knowledge and understanding of chickens in that time.

Plus I've read a couple of books about raising chickens. Hoping some time soon to be moving to a more chicken friendly area to raise chickens and other small homesteading items for sell.

Glad you could join the flock! Many people were lurkers before joining, I did two years of lurking before joining. How lovely if you are able to move to a chicken friendly area and have some chickens. I have always loved quilts but never had the drive to do them, i would love to see some photos of your works.
I can paint though and i love birds of all kinds as well as dogs.

I hang out in the peafowl section most of the time , so if you ever wanna learn the peafowl way fly on over there and check us out

I think we all lurked first, expecting something to leap out and get us.

Well , at least I did. Took 8 mos. till I figured out how to join (not a computer person by nature)
