Hi everyone! I am a homeschooling mom of 5 (well, 3 now since my older two have graduated). After years of contemplating raising chickens, I have finally decided to take the plunge- much to my husband's dismay (his fault, he said I needed a hobby 
). So I have 9 chicks that have now been added to my family of humans and assorted critters. They're 2 weeks old today and I certainly did not to expect to fall so in love with the fluffy butts. I have 3 Salmon Faverolles, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Easter Eggers, 1 Speckled Sussex, and 1 Golden buff or Red star.
