I just love this site. I never knew that there was sooo much to learn about chickens. I started out purchasing Rhode Island Reds from Tractor Supply ( I know now they are not True Reds ) lol. I also wanted to raise Turkeys and I was lucky enough to find a super nice lady who raises Blue Slates and Lavender O's ,that's when I fell in love with these birds :). so I have Blue Slate Turkeys ,Bourbon Red's , Royal palms , Standard Bronze and I think I have a Narragansett . My chickens are Lavender Orpingtons and Ameraucanas(still not sure on those ,Easter Egger or Ameraucanas , I'm sure I will find out what they are on this site :) Ive got so much to learn and with that being said .......Let the learning begin !!!! LOL..:DDDDD
