Hi everyone I have 2 questions I need help with one is about ants in the coop area and what is safe?

My next Question is about laying ducks and feed, do they need a layer feed ?or is just supplementing with Oyster shell enough I have a mixed flock right now I have grower feed and layer and they eat off of each others food.

I always keep Oyster shell out even when I am feeding layer but when I have babies and layers I mix 50/50. I have all my flock together so no way I can keep them out of separate feeds.

Sevin dust or poultry dust might keep ants out of the coop. Keep no feed inside will help too.
