I've got a broody jersey giant (midnight) and a Rhode island red (hopper). Since midnight has become broody there have been no eggs from hopper. I've searched thinking she might be laying elsewhere but have found none. The eggs midnight lays on are hers (cream colored, Hoppers are brown). Will hopper become eggbound not laying? Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated. 🐔🐔🐔

Lol no rooster . Hopper is noisy enough lol
And Midnight is sitting on her own infertile eggs? Why? You need to break her or give her fertile eggs. You can't just leave her like that.

I take the eggs daily from her. From research I've done prior to joining this group I heard brooding can last about 21 days. What do you suggest I do?
