Hi! My daughter and I are just getting started with our chicks. We have 16 that are almost 3 weeks. They are keeping us entertained for sure! The cat could care less and the dog really wants to play. Once we figure out which breeds we have we will only keep about 6 or 7. We built a coop out of an old swing set. I am sure we will have lots of questions in the coming weeks!

Welcome to BYC! Your chicks are so precious! If I'm not mistaken I'd say that your chicks that look like little chipmunks are Easter Eggers. I personally have 4 and they are so fun! They can lay anywhere from a blue to green to brown to even a pinkish egg. Although once they lay one color, that is the only color you are going to get from that certain one.

That would be pretty cool if she was a showgirl. She would go great with what I believe to be a White Polish. But I'm thinking a turken.
