I can relate. We are rural and live on a dead end road. We have been the recipients of others relocations. Not all have been bad, but just to drop them off is not good. You have a lot of coops for the amount of birds you have. I do hatch out chicks every year but I use an incubator. I have let broody's hatch but not anymore and around half of the hatches will be males. I do grow them out but I am a breeder. I keep the best as future breeders and sell the rest which helps to offset the cost of feed. Good luck and have fun...
