I have been raising mealworms and it's really easy. They are not hard to take care of and the ones that pupate into the darkling beetles, do NOT fly. I have never had any problems with them. I got mine from Uncle Jim's Worm Farm (I also got red wiggler worms from him for my closed compost bins). There are probably other places, but I've had good experiences with that company.

Thank you LTAY. I did mean worms from China. Sorry about that. It's a frustrating subject. I do like American grown and packaged on most of what I buy. So for my chickens I'm just as picky. Thank you for your help.Hello and Welcome to BYC and Glad to have You here in this Poultry Loving Community. I'm thinking Chinese meal worms are product of China not a variety. It should say on the bag "Product of" maybe. I don't know.
