Hi Everyone!

I am new to this site and also a new backyard chicken farmer. I recently bought six lil' Americauna chicks and I am so excited about this new endeaver. If you have any advice, whatsoever, it would be greatly appreciated. Also any links or instructions on building a chicken coop would be wonderful. I just ordered a chicken coop for a flock of four but I am worried it might be too small although some have told me it will hold six. Any sage tips on backyard chickens are welcome. Thanx!

from Alaska! The EE chickens are a bit skittish but you'll enjoy the colored eggs. I've got 8 of them, we get green to light blue.

LOL. I have noticed that. I have a few light ones that seem pretty laid back though. Does more human contact help with the shyness?

My EE is still a chick, so don't know how they are as adults. My orps were skittish when little though, and are now lap chickens.
