Just though I'd say hello. Next month we're getting our first batch of chicks, 22 of them. I've wanted chickens for a while now and had found this site a couple years ago, and have been lurking on and off ever since. So I figured since its so close to happening I'd finally sign up

We are getting a few different breeds Buckeyes, Barred Plymouth Rocks, Welsummers, and Black Ameraucanas and then just a couple mutts too My daughers and I are super excited to get them and I think my husband is too maybe just not to our degree

Anyway can't wait to talk to you all more and read you chicken keeping experiences

Also if any one could suggest any good natural chicken keeping books it would be very much appreciated.
