Hi! I’m Stephanie.
My love for chickens began as a little girl. My dad had hens and I had a favorite that I would run around the yard with. Then, a family move took us to another area and we no longer had birds. Fast forward about 50 years. My teenage son convinced me that he should raise some chicks!

That was 3 years ago. I now have 6 hens in my backyard and 8 7 week old chicks in my garage! The young ones are all rare breeds. I couldn’t decide what to get. So, I ordered a mix of rare breeds. That’s what brought me to BYC. I am pretty sure about what 6 of the chicks are but 2 are a little tricky! So, I posted pics on the chick raising thread. I hope someone here will able to help me!

She is beautiful! I have 2, Cher and Patsy! They are definitely showgirls! I am excited about the blue eggs! I do agree that she is probably a cream leg bar. so excited!
