Hi from Alabama!

I'm a new chicken "mom" and we live in Alabama. We have 4 Rhode Island Reds, 4 Easter Eggers, and 4 Barred Rock hens. All are hens except "Henry," our EE rooster. They are all about 7 months old.

I didn't think I would like chickens, but my husband really wanted some and now, here they are and I have become very attached. They come running to see me when we go outside. They remind me of my dogs. lol I'm even starting to "understand" them.

Anyway, I just wanted to say "Hi"! Nice to meet you all!
