Hi All!

I have been visiting this site for several months now and realized it was time to join the group. I am the proud chicken mom of 9 chickens. My older group is 14 weeks old and my babies are 5 weeks old. I am so addicted to my little feathered sweethearts.

I am looking forward to reading, posting and most of all becoming friends with you all. What a great way to start out the new year!!!

Happy 2016 everyone!

Hi! I am new too! I live across town in Apple Valley.
Where do you get your chickens from?
How long have you had chickens? I am pretty new to raising chickens.
Look forward to chatting with you.

So far I got mine from other chicken owners in the high desert, and also I got the rooster from the feed store. Where did you get yours?

Glad you joined us at Backyard chickens

I was given four chicks from a friend who was moving. Sadly 3 are cockerels, now I need to rehome two of them. I also have 5 others that I got a Desert Feed.
