Hi, My name is Shawna.
I live in Arkansas. We live on a farm with currently around 70 chickens. It changes a few here and there often though. Currently... 7 roosters, 28 chicks and 35 hens. We also have 4 sheep, 2 dogs, a huge water frog named hank, 5 fish, 5 ducks, 1 guinea and 1 dwarf Goat named Andy. I will begin incubating many eggs tomorrow too! I love my little farm! I have 4 children and a husband. They enjoy the animals as much as me. Our chicken breeds are... Barred Rock, black-gold-silver laced wyandottes, Silkies, Cochin, brahama, Austrolorp, oliver egger, easter eggers, white and brown leghorn, Black Rose comb bantam, Easter egg Bantams, Barred Rock Bantams,Wheaten Cubalayan Bantam, Cochin Bantam, Red Sex link, Delaware, and Sizzles. We have been farming since 2016 when we decided to move to the country with my husbands family! I nlook forward to all of the knowledge we can learn from this site!
