Hi All, I'm in Ontario Canada. I used to raise meat chickens sometimes several hundred at a time. I'm taking the plunge to raise just for me now for both meat and eggs. Tomorrow I pick up 60 plymouth rock chicks unsexed. Hoping to get about 50/50 split: If I do will kill all rooster by week 19 for meat except 1 of coarse to take care of the hens.
