Hi from central coast of California

[Backyard Hencam]

I've had chickens off and on my entire life but never raised them from day-old. I have six four-week-old: (1) RIR, (1) Golden and (1) Silver Wyandotte, (1) Barred Rock, (1) Americana, and (1) Buff Orpington. Some are very tame and actually want to get out of the brooder and walk around with me. The two Wyandottes are still very wild. We've moved the brooder from the house to the garage. Can't wait to get them into their newly built chicken house and yard.

I'm retired now and have time to garden and play with chicks. Wish me luck!
