Good morning. I'm Mary, and I'm just starting on my chicken venture. I've already had so many questions answered just browsing these forums, but I'm certain that I will have many more as I go!

I have a small coop/run and I'm in the process of building an additional run that I can move around my yard. I'm planning to start with 3 hens and if things go well, I will add an addition to my coop and add 3 more (6 is the max for where I live). I'm hoping to have everything set within the next couple weeks before I bring home any birds. :weee

I'm sorry. I though I had replied, but it didn't post. My big dog is secretly a big softy. I picked up 3 chicks Sunday evening. He thinks he's their new Momma and wants to just lay next to the crate they are in all day. My smaller dog is much like the Yeti with Bugs Bunny. I'll keep them seperate until the girls are big enough to scare her.
