More specifically I live in a suburb, but yes. Kind of. In my suburb all types of poultry/fowl is illegal, (Really? REALLY?!) but I called the city and they said it was okay... As long as I wrote a written document, didn't sell the birds, eggs, anything touched by the birds/eggs, they didn't make too much noise or smell, etc., and I had to write a document explaining the hatching process and my plan for taking care of them. Haha, I feel bad. The lady I talked to thought I was getting 3-6 (which I expected, I was only expecting to get 12 eggs. Shipped from Kansas.). And then the lady got all mean on me when I explained the incubator. As if you wouldn't do the same for a common pet bird XD. But yeah, they probably don't know the difference. But a museum in Chcago is overrun with live Buttons... They probably have a permit or something.Does Chicago's chicken law apply to quail also? They probably don't know the difference.![]()
