I have posted a few times, but thought I would formally introduce myself. I live in a small neighborhood in the city of Cincinnati, and just started my first flock. My birds are all 9 weeks old now.
I have an EE roo named Pete, and six hens:
Poppy, EE
Rose, "golden buff" from MPC
Chrysanthemum, barred rock
Lily, GLW
Daisy, Ancona
Iris, Australorp
Pete may need a new home soon as a crowing rooster is no good for my neighborhood, but I am going to give him a chance to develop and see if he is quiet. Here are some pics of our girls and our coop. I am in the process of building an enclosed run. Looking forward to many future posts!
