My name is Debbie and this is my second batch of chickens. My first batch where all bantams I originally got 2 japanese bantams for my son and the FFA club. I went to tractor supply and got 6 assorted and had a mix of 3 girls and 3 boys unfortunately a neighborhood dog(s) known to kill chickens got all but one and she is still in shock that she will not come out from under my trailer, her name is baby...I have learned not to name this new batch of chickens that I got which are 6 Golden sex link pullets. I went back to tractor supply feeling bad for baby and missing my road runner(she was always on my shoulder) i bought 3 bantams and 3 red egg layers. I lost 2 bantams to a snake which no longer lives and my 3 red egg layers turned out to be a wrong shipment from the hatchery and I have 3 Rhode Island Red Roosters that are very aggressive I don't want them and will be giving them away and the remaining bantam is also a rooster but he is beautiful I will be looking up his breed soon and posting pictures..I just got 3 eggs from my goldies but I need a bigger coop and that is one of the reasons I have joined this site.
