Hello guys and girls at BYC,
My name is Mark. I just got a flock of four chicks (EE,RIR,BR,White Leghorn) this past Tuesday. Finally convinced my Dad, after much debating, to let me keep chickens. When I had permition, I immediatly started building a coop. I should have ordered the chicks first (it took 2 months before they shipped them here). With that much time, I could have built several coops (if had the room and Dad was willing to spend the money). But here they are and I'm very happy.
Apart from chickens, I'm addicted to woodworking, especially with old school hand tools. I also have five turtles, three stinkpots (Coco, Scratchy, and Remo), one Red eared slider named Patches, and an eastern box turtle called Tappy. My siblings name them , and the chickens too (Oreo, Sunshine, Brownie, and Cupcake), you can tell we like dessert a lot.
I'm glad I found BYC, it helped a lot.
Cheers,
Mark
