Well, post your dilemma on the predator and pest forum (linked above) to get more advice on how to treat.
I would think 7 days max to repeat and permethrin spray your birds and every crack and corner of coops. I have not had to deal with the issue though - just read lots here on the forums. There is another spray that is recommended, but I cannot remember without searching - but they will tell you on the forum linked above.
