I was raised on a farm, been away from it for about 20 years.
I realized how much I missed it, so DH and I are starting out with
6 barred rock, 6silver laced wyandottes,, 6 Isa Browns 2 reds, 2 cornish, no roos yet. Also since Hubby and kids love ducks, 3 runners, 2 pek, 4 mallards, and 4 guineas.
I am a Mom to 6, Grandma to 5, 2 pit bulls, 1 lab mix.
