Hi from Iowa

My wife and i have been raising poultry for quite a few years. Have a nice established flock of Dominiques that weve been working on for about 9 years, hatch about 1000 bobwhites each year, do call ducks and cornish rocks. Are supervisors for the local fair, am state pullorom tester, part time teacher and professional firefighter. We also do an incubation project for local schools, in 2010 33 classrooms, where we hatch chicks in each class along with a power point presentation and various activities. We have 5 kids, all teens now, who show poultry at some events. Looking forward to learning a few more things and viewpoints.

What part of Iowa? It gets awful lonely in this part of the state for chicken people. Seems most are in Northern or Eastern Iowa.
