Hi from Mid-Michigan

I'm new here. I've never raised chickens but have always wanted to. Last fall we moved into a home with a very nice coop, so are all ready to go. I'm heading to the feed store tomorrow to pick up some babies and am so excited.

If you read this before tomorrow... we're going to Eevies in Linwood to get chicks (they used to be Rocket Js). The TSC here is selling them, but I've heard to avoid getting them from there. Do you have any better ideas?
