We moved out to the country last winter and have enjoyed adding various farm animals to our family. We added chickens in May and am hoping that they will start to lay soon! I'm excited to join your group and learn lots!!

Don't be too surprised if your chickens lay few if any eggs this winter...a lot of them don't with the shorter hours of daylight. Have you had snow yet? I'm in WY and some parts north of us have had some already (I'm sure we'll get our turn sooner or later).
