Hi from New Jersey!!

Hi everyone!

I've actually been stalking/posting in the BYC forums for a little while, but never introduced myself! I am Phy, and I am a college student studying mechanical engineering in New Jersey (entering junior year! psyched!).

I'm also from New Jersey originally, so I come home often to visit my chickies. Currently I have 31 chicks that are ~2 wks old, and the breeds are: Black Star, Buff Orpington, Araucana, Golden Laced Wyandotte, Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, and Blue Andalusian.

I am really excited about the hens they will become!

All of you at BYC are really great and supportive, and I love reading all your expert chicken posts and planning for my own chickies

Once you start getting really into the posting, the numbers shoot up... take me for instance. BYC gets more addictive the more time you spend on it

I had to cut back recently, or I would be driving myself insane with undone work!

Mechanical engineering sounds kinda cool actually. I'm thinking of going into engineering myself after I'm done with high school... local university recently had a bit of an open day that introduced us senior girls to engineering and technology.

Anyhow, hope to see you a bit more around the forums
