Hi everyone,
I've been lurking here for a few weeks and thought I'd better pop in and introduce myself. I'm Janet and I live in the northwestern part of the state.
I've had chickens pretty much all my life.Currently I have a small flock of 25 birds mostly made up of Rhode Island Reds and Brown Leghorns with a few Barred Rocks, Buff Orphingtons and mixed breeds thrown in. Plus a Rhode Island Red rooster that "rooms" with a Guinea rooster and a mixed breed rooster that has the hens to himself.
I also have 2 geese, 5 dogs, 3 cats, 3 horses ( a normal sized mare and 2 miniature stallions), 2 rabbits, 3 Pigmy goats, a husband and a 6 yr. old son ( who's laid claim to every critter on the place).
