We have had chickens for about 16 years. I only have heavy breeds for eggs. I love to get new and different hens. We once had 2 black Langshan hens that lived for over 12 years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? We have 8 hens and 3 chicks in the brooder right now.
(3) What breeds do you have? right now we have... A Buff Orphington, 2 Americauna, 2 Austalorps, New Hampshire, 2 Dominique, black sex link, brown Leghorn, Barred Rock

We live close to the beach and love to go to the tide pools, hike in the mountains, garden.

I share my home with a rabbit, a cat, 3 cockatiels, 11 hens, 3 teenagers and 2 Nigerian Dwarf goats. Obviously not everyone lives inside my home, the teenagers come and go mostly
