I've read the blog for about 5 months now...since my hubby and I bought what we thought were a Rhode Island Red pullet and Buff Orpington pullet to add into our Isa Brown and Barred Rock flock.
We've been anxiously hoping that our Buff Orpington (Dolly) wasn't turning out to really be Donny!
I'm so excited that I had to share!!! Dolly...laid what I believe to be her first egg today! WAHOO.
I'm so very glad she didn't turn out to be a rooster!
I'll have to share a picture of her. She's beautiful with a HUGE red comb and wattles!
Thanks to all of you for sharing your pictures and prior posts...they helped me convince my hubby to keep on waiting!!!
