Hi there, I just wanted to introduce myself

My name is Skye, and I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. I joined this forum as I'm getting in to hobby farmer, and will definetly need advice!!

Last July my fiance and I purchased a hobby farm - it's 12 acres with a 1 1/2 storie house, and 2 storie barn with outbuildings. We own 3 horses (I've had them since I was about 8, so I'm not new to horses lol) and 2 dogs/2 cats, but I've never had chickens. I attended an Agriculture university where I graduated with a Bsc. Agriculture with a major in Agricultural Business. Although I've worked with chickens/dairy/sheep before, it was all larger scale, never hobby farm.

So please bare with me!! We're starting to renovate one of our buildings for our coop, and I'd love to show you guys progress pictures as well as have you all share in my experience as a first time hobby farmer
