Hello. Just joined we have 9 hens and 1 rooster, these are my first chickens in a LONG time. We got them for pets and for eggs. (the rooster was an oops) So have been working on their coop all summer and since I"m a SAHM am thinking of getting an incubator to raise some chicks to sell (next year). I know LOTS of people who buy a few chicks every spring for egg or meat production plus we could eat any extras. Any info on raising from an incubator would be great. Also info on different breeds, am thinking a dual purpose maybe something that I could also sell as 4H birds. I like my orphingtons and leghorn. thanks.
