Hi, from Ontario.New to backyard chickens

Hi Tina: Welcome to BYC. There are a few of us here from Ontario (but as you know it's quite a large place). Lots of good winter information (and other stuff) from other Ontarians. We are getting quite a bit of snow (at our place) and the chickens DO NOT want to go out in it. I have shovelled a small area for them and as long as they can see green grass or brown earth they will venture out. I'm fairly new (this year) to chickens too and love having my own fresh eggs.
