(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I first had chickens a few years back when I lived in Julian, CA. I LOVED them to death, but it was time to move and we had to give them a new home.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None. I still have to build a nifty chicken pad for them to live in.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I used to have some Easter Eggs, Plymouth Rocks, Delawares and a slightly crippled little Buff Orpington. I'm looking forward to having some of the same breeds again, and maybe a Silkie or Jersey Giant, too.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
The Magnificent Wizard of Google.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, college, ensuring that my dog never goes without a smile on her face.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live with my wonderful mom and handy carpenter boyfriend. There are three dogs and a hamster here, guess which runs the most! I currently just go to school a few times a week for Culinary Management, but this three week break is giving me a lot more backyard renovation time.
