Hi from Oregon...Psst! Wanna a rooster?

Shouting out from the Columbia Gorge, the Oregon side, where we're raising our first flock of chickens -- barred rocks -- in our large, residential backyard.

On a totally unrelated note: I had the impression that my local feed store had attempted some sex selection, or their supplier did, or someone somewhere along the way tried to minimize the number of roosters in the chicks for sale. That has gone the way of most assumptions... turns out, we've ended up with 2 hens, and 4 roosters. If anybody nearby wants a rooster or 2, please, for the love of Peter, contact me. Buy, sell, trade, whatever.

I am a former Oregonian. I grew up in the area around The Dalles. Are you anywhere near there?
When you bought yer chicks did you tell them ya wanted pullets? Did they sell them to ya as pullets? Many places will buy back anything over 10% roos.
