Hi I'm new to chickens. I took on 4 ex battery hens about 4 months ago. They were in pretty poor condition when they arrived but are doing much better now. They a re Isa Browns and the girls have settled in well and are giving me 3-4 eggs a day.

I also got 2 silkie chicks recently. They are now 2 months old and very cute and fluffy.

Anyways I hope to learn lots more about keeping chickens. My girls all live in coops but free range in my yard for several hours a day.
