Hello from Quebec, I am new to this site and also to chickens a month ago I just got 6 brown hens and yesterday I got 5 silkie chickens the seller told me that in that group I had 1 ruster and to my surprise there was 2 so the older one was attacking the younger one when I put them together so I had to keep the little one safe by seperating them he is only 2 months old and the other one is 8 months old. can you tell me if I will be able to leave the silkies with my brown hens without them getting beat up by them.
I have a lot to learn about chickens but so far I love these criters they are so sweet.
