Hi Chicken Lovers
It was so weird for me to find people on a website that are so crazy about chickens. I thought I was the only one that saw the beauty in 10 chickens following you around the garden. My man, Donald and I have been in our new home for 2 months now, and have a stunning duck enclosure in which we want to have some laying hens. As well as some free range chickens, ducks, geese etc. It s winter now in South Arfica so we have decided on September to get a flock or two. By next winter we will surely be pros at this thing. I have already learnt so much just browsing this site so thank you for all the advice and tips. Looking forward to posting some pictures soon!!! Karen

I was just as surprised to learn OTHER folks go on bug hunts for their chickens, too. Or at least call 'em over when discovering a nest of earwigs. The bug problem is rapidly solved and we get something fun to watch! ;)

What's more bucolic than that?!?!
