Hi everyone, I'm new to chickens as well as byc. My husband and I have 6 girls, 4 rir, 1 barred rock, and 1 who knows (was told she is an americana but she lays olive eggs) we tell everyone she is an americana, (they don't know either, lol) We got our girls in Jan. not sure of thier ages so we now have 6 production layers we got from tsc. We are enjoying them and spoils the girls, he likes to find worms or them everyday.
We live in the Mobile, AL area , we have 5 granddaughters and they love the girls also, they named them all and they know which is which and always ask who lays the most eggs. (I think they they keep a running total)
I'm sure I will have lots of questions as time goes along. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
