Good Evening,

We got our first eight chickens about six weeks ago. We have seven RIR's and one Buff Orpington. I have a wonderful husband and three children 14,9,6. We are in the process of building a new coop for our 25 chicks that will be arriving on Tuesday. We will be adding 10 RIR's, 5 Buff Orpington's, 5 Austrlorp's and 5 Barred Rock. First time with chicks got our other chicks when they were ten weeks.

Sounds like you'll have a wonderful laying flock and those Orpingtons will go broody so get a roo if you are allowed.
