(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We have had chickens for about 14 years now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? about a dozen plus one goose
(3) What breeds do you have? reds, easter eggers mostly
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? EGGS!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Coloring, gardening, fixing up our fixer upper
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My hubby and I have been married 20 years in July. We have two girls. One going off to College in the fall and the other starting high school. I am a PK teacher for a school district. To say this year has been rough is the ultimate understatement.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I have known about you guys forever. I used to have an account but I can't figure out what it was and its been a few years so I am back with a new account!
