Hi, I'm new to the forums but have been visiting them for a while as I gather tons of valuable info needed to build a coop and start raising chicks for eggs.
My grandfather had chickens and I've always wanted them so this year we decided, you know what, let's go for it!
The forums are great and I have really enjoyed the long post on peeps with game cams, great pictures.
We have seen plenty of signs around here of fox, coyotes and had bear walk right up on the deck to check things out so I expect predators may give me trouble here in the Catskill Mtns.
My avatar is me going into survival mode on a hike and gnawing on a branch for sustenance. An hour in the woods makes me dang hungry!
