Hi, I’ve been keeping chickens for a while now. Probably about 5 or 6 years on and off. I’ve also kept quail and ducks in the past. We’ve lost a few groups over the years sadly to foxes but I’ve had Sussex, Orpingtons and Cream Legbars. Currently I have 6 lovely quirky hybrids and I possibly 1 Dorking (if the chick survives ).

I live in Kent in south east England.

Is Kent going to have problems getting the fruit picked this year?

I’m not really sure but most people involved in food production are classed as key workers so I believe they are still working despite the lockdown so hopefully things should still go well. I certainly hope so as I have a feeling every business and job is going to be a very valuable thing to keep hold of in the coming months!
