Hi, we are new chicken owners from England. We only have 4 chucks at the moment and have found this site really useful. We were a bit worried this morning as it is raining and weren't sure if our chickens should really be let out, even though they seemed to be enjoying the rain. But a few clicks on this site and we were re-assured that yes chickens are mad enough to love the rain! I'm sure that there will be lots of questions asked and answered on here. Looking forward to chatting to other mad chicken owners. Dawn & Al.

My girls are also out in the rain this morning and they are choosing to be out there, they have a covered area to protect them but they are loving the mud so far.

Where are you getting your poultry products from - are there reliable suppliers in the UK?

Not sure how it compares to the USA, but we got our hens from a free range farm who were doing P.O.L. The food and accessories we bought from a store but sure if we shop around can find it cheaper. My hubby built the coop and is secretly really pleased with it, is now working on expanding it and making alterations!
