Hi from upstate NY

Welcome!!! I'm in Upstate NY also.

Hey, where upsate? Nowhere near us, I'm sure. We're not very upstate.

My DH and I always laugh about news stories that refer to something that happened in "Upstate NY" when to us it's practically in NYC. We think the border is about 10 miles past Manhattan.

i thought about that last night... i always think of upstate is north of the thruway(90) east and west.... catskills and south isn't up state to me.. no offense but there is alot more up-state from there.
 
Welcome. I am a Texan now but grew up in Owasco NY and went to Skaneatles School in Skaneatles. Now,that's upstate!
