Hello from Southwind Farms in Otego, NY.
We currently have about 1000 poultry.

We hatch Buff orpingtons, Barred Rocks and Rhode Island Reds.
We also raise coturnix and bobwhite quail as well as ringneck pheasants.
I also have peafowl, mute swans and a lonely male black swan.
In addition there are geese, runner and pekin ducks as well as turkeys and guinea fowl.
I have a pair each of red golden, yellow golden, cinnamon golden and lady amherst pheasants.

We have several greenhouses, with year round fresh vegetables and tilapia. We have an on farm store marketing beef, lamb, goat, rabbit, tilapia and poultry as well as produce and crafts.

We plan to host a yearly bird (poultry) and small animal Tailgate and swap meet each Sept. Starting Sept 8th 2012. We have monthly on farm farmers market on the second Saturday of each month and this will be our September theme.
