Hello Patsyfoss.

You're in Washinton Island and taking time to raise grandsons
chickens? Wonderful. He will remember it always.

But isn't that where that rock beach is? Only one like that in
the world.

As much as I enjoy the chickens, and the the people here, I
marvel at the places we all live. Like, I know there's a ferry
there. Most people have never seen a ferry except on tv.

(There was a ferry here years ago, back when the bridge fell)

But no matter where we live, there is always something to make
that place special.

Like living on an island...has to be some great fishing. Although,
cold in the winter. Coldest I ever was was in Wisconsin once. Swore
I wasn't ever going back.

(But its still a beautiful place)

Yes living the good life on Washington island. Once my husband retires we want to start up a small hobby farm, grow our own food or as much as we can. Chickens are a great start and my grandson and me are so excited.
