Hi everyone Im new to BYC, i have had chickens for about 7 years now and currently have nine. We have 5 full grown chickens and 4 new babies we received august 13th. We just put them outside last night and I can’t wait to help answe some chicken questions
(3) What breeds do you have? I have a Easter egger, speckled Sussex, silkie, bantam, and a silver laced Wyandot. Our newest additions are an assortment so we don’t know their breeds

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I love the companionship other then a dog. We have a medium sized dog and he’s not really cuddly so with the chicks imprinting on me it’s nice to be appreciated

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I really enjoy photography and I love really all animals

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a GSP and plott hound mix named Toronto and some betta fish

Glad to have you aboard. I really enjoy reading the different post and seeing all the beautiful chickens. Just looking at everyone’s chickens make make my brain start doing chicken math. I have to stay away from TSC and Rural King because I know I will come home with some I already have 24 in all.
