I have been raising chickens for two and a half years now. I have eight mature hens who are my children's pets and we eat their eggs. I have been raising heavy breed baby chicks from the McMurray hatchery. I have 30 new young birds. They are eight weeks old. I want to sell the hens and keep five new hens for my own egg production and then eat the roosters. I need help sexing my birds. I found this forum very helpful when looking for photos of young birds! I am a Mother of two children and live in Berkeley, California. Thank you for all your future help!
My breeds are Barred rocks / Partridge rocks/ Buff orphington/ black giant / Dark cornish
