Hi, I am J. from MA and I have hens and just hatched some chicks and have more in the incubator. We just hatched a sticky chicken who is blind and I am looking for help. We have 9 chickens total and hope to add more because chicken math. I like to weave and garden while building up our homestead.

I used to have a blind chicken! Make sure that food and water is easily accessible and isn't moved around. Watch for signs of bullying! If you're using a water dish I would put marbles in it so the blind chick(as well as the other chicks) do not stick their heads in and drown. Handle the blind bird gently and talk to her so she knows that you are there. Welcome to BYC, and I hope you learn lots of things here!

I'm not exactly sure, I think it's when one hatches with egg stuff on it.

I guessed the same thing, but they stay in the incubator until dry, so I wouldn't know how they feel. They do look "sticky" though!
